we have a stance on job sharing

Our path

In 2015, we started looking into job sharing. The reason is personal: we are both young parents, in the middle of a corporate career. And we believe that if we have new priorities in our lives but like our work, then we need to find a way to rethink it. Daddycation and motherhood must be compatible with professional responsibilities!

In 2016,we are working in a job-sharing arrangement in a succession tandem with a junior partner in both the corporation and the start-up. It doesn't work without good organization and sometimes there is friction - but it's working. It's getting better and better! We're excited about it and want to infect more people with our enthusiasm.

In 2017,we are taking the next step. Because we have experienced it: the job sharing model works! It fits the spirit of the times, is transformative, and brings strategic and operational added value. But we also understand that job sharing is a cultural and structural challenge for many companies, and certainly also for job sharers. So we are founding the jobsharing hub to combine practical experience with HR expertise and make it accessible. We focus on research, develop job sharing-specific concepts and tools from our data and experience, and concentrate on the development of organizations, because they are the bottleneck that must be broken down in order to make job sharing scalable. And as a "hub," the focus is on the network and community idea. We connect companies, interested and practicing job sharers, and act as multipliers for media and research inquiries.

2024   we are the leading consultancy in Germany on the subject of job sharing. We have supported more than 60 companies and 150 tandems in the DACH region. Our research has brought significant depth to the topic of job sharing and the Corona pandemic has finally shown that the time is ripe for a new way of working and living. With our HR-Tech start-up PairToShare, founded in 2022, we have also developed a software solution that makes the job sharing model scalable on the external applicant market. Job sharing is on the rise! We are proud of everything we have achieved and are still fully committed to it!
